Born in the Dominican Republic, Karina grew up playing tennis until a knee injury interrupted her career. Initially playing golf to stay active, she quickly fell in love with the game, moving from a successful career as a graphic designer to golfing full time. Subsequently, she moved to Orlando, Florida, where she earned an associate degree from Professional Golfers Career College.
Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, Karina brings the uniqueness of having played golf at the highest level, qualifying for the LPGA Symetra Tour after only playing golf for four years.
For the past five years, she has been a key member of her country’s National Golf Team and has been Dominican National Golf Champion four times and Athlete of the Year, an honor bestowed by the Dominican National Association of Sports Writers.
Karina makes a difference in golfers games by improving personal technique and overall scores by approaching the game on the course with a new perspective on the game.
